Daily Dose: New Hamilton Beach

Hello everybody. I hope everyone is enjoying some fun in the sun this summer. What I have for you today is a new song from local Eugene artists Hamilton Beach. Hamilton Beach is no stranger to the West Coast Leak, and recently has expanded from just a producer/drummer set up to a full band. Their newest song, The Beat shows us for the first time the full capabilities of their collective creative mind. The Beat is a step in a different direction for Hamilton Beach, but in no way does it detract from their overall sound as a band. If anything, The Beat is the track that is going to take Hamilton Beach to the next level. What really separates The Beat from their other work is the collaboration of sounds between producer, Nathan Asmann, and guitarist Keith Randel. The melodies that these two talented young musicians created for this song are as complex and intricate as they are beautiful and dance-y. You can find Hamilton Beach playing along with other local Eugene electronic artists Tribal Spectrum this Saturday Night at the Maize Lounge in Eugene, OR.
