What I have for you today is something that differs from the type of music that we typically post here on The Leak, but I think you’ll like it none the less. Tortilla Pass is the brainchild of 17 year old New York native Kallie Lampel. His musical style is an etherial blend of ambient sounds, psychedelic beats and low resinous bass tones that come together to create a very unique and mellow listening experience. I first heard Tortilla pass at a buddy’s house and was immediately captivated by the incredible beauty of his music. It was unlike anything I had ever heard before. His music, though downtempo and mellow, is very intricate. Each song contains multiple layers of sound that compound and regress to form a musical journey. Yesterday, Tortilla Pass put out a new track on his Sound Cloud account titled Forever Fire. This new track is a bit different from his previous work, but it has a great feel to it and has a bit more a dance-able feel to it. Check it out below and enjoy listening.
