Well friends, the future of music is here. Over the past year or so, we have seen a massive rise in the popularity of bass music, and consequently we have seen a substantial decrease in the quality and originality of bass music as well. But I don’t need to sit here and tell all you tried and true bass heads this. You’ve seen it for yourselves. We have been forced underground yet again by the mainstream in search of creativity and originality and we have found it in the resonant depths of future bass. Future bass, a musical genre driven by bass and free of all inhibitions. Where one is free to produce as they please and is free from the incessant racket of the common dubstep collective. Attention here rest on the melodies, sounds, vibes and flow of the music rather than the hits and drops. It’s dubstep meets musicality and for those savvy to the scene it is the next stage in the esoteric subculture that is underground EDM.

What I have for you today is a producer who is truly keeping it trill in the bass scene. His birth name is Evan, but you’ll know him better as Sugarpill. Hailing from the great city if Los Angeles, California, Sugarpill has been producing some of the most innovative and hyphy bass jams since the start of his career back in 2008. Today, Sugarpill has released another stellar installment of tunes which he has put together in a seven song EP entitled Space Foray. These seven new tracks are a true testament to the talent which he possesses and the unconventional style that he chooses to channel his talent through. His ability to create songs which possess a rich variety of genres and styles gives the listener a refreshing dose of originality not found in any other genres of EDM. His explosive regimen of bass paired with his experimental, psychedelic style put him in the top ranks of producers pushing the envelope of future sound.
