Summer Meltdown Lowdown: Blitzen Trapper

Recently in the world of music, we have seen a resurgence of rock and roll music with a southern/classic rock vibe. Bands like The Black Keys, The Alabama Shakes and Delta Spirit have seen massive rises in popularity in the recent past as this “new age” classic southern rock sound has moved to the forefront of the Rock and Roll scene. Blitzen Trapper is also among this group of bands and will be playing on Friday of Summer Meltdown. Based out of Portland, Oregon, Blitzen Trapper combines elements of Southern Rock and Roll with elements of Country and Folk music to create a sound that that’ll please Rock and Roll fans of all generations. This summer Blitzen Trapper has an extensive touring schedule which includes a handful of festivals as well as many stops across the United States.
